"Where Does the Money Go?"

Presenter:  Michelle Tidemann, UW-Extension Family Living Educator and Department Co-Chair

This presentation will explore some reasons why people don't seem to get ahead financially.  Please don't miss an opportunity to get on the right track financially with this introductory workshop.  Everyone is welcome, and those in attendance will have an opportunity to win a $15 Amazon gift card. 

Wordsmiths Creative Writer's Group

Thursday, Sept. 14th - 7 p.m.  Writer Herman Bender of FDL  (independent researcher whith a background in geology (professional emphasis) and an amateur astronomer with decades of experience).  He has been internationally published. 

Thursday, Oct. 12th- 7 p.m. Author Brian Miller of Oakfield will discuss what motivates him as an author, the creative process, and his latest writings. 

Thursday, Nov. 9th- 7 p.m. Local Author Dean Wild "The Art of Writing Horror"

Friday, Dec. 15th- 7 p.m. Wordsmiths Christmas Party at the home of Jeff and Debbie McAndrew

Meetings usually take place the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Spillman Library.  Please check the library website or call the library to be sure.

All aspiring writers are welcome to join a new Creative Writer's Group--this group is composed of poets, novelists, short story writers, children's authors, or songwriters.

The Fond du Lac County and Beyond Autism Support Group’s Autism Resource Library, housed at the Spillman Library, was recently expanded. The purchase of over 200 books and 3 DVDs was made possible by a generous donation from a past Walleye Weekend Strongman event.
