Children's Summer Reading Program (Ages 2-12)
Starts June 15th

Children, Please join us for an at-home 2020 "Imagine Your Story" Summer Reading Program!
How it works:
Step 1: Starting June 10th, visit our table outside the library to pick up a reading log folder.
Step 2: Call the library at 929-3771 to register all children ages 2-12. (Parents can sign up children who are younger than 2 to participate in 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program.)
Step 3: Then start reading! Between June 15 - August 21, read (or be read to) 20 minutes or more per day. Color in one star for every day you read at least 20 minutes. Once a card is filled, move on to the next card. Any completed cards should be kept in your Reading Log Folder until they are filled. Make sure to mark your name and number of the prize you want to try to win on each card. (All prizes will be displayed with numbers in library windows, on our website, and Facebook page.)
Step 4: Starting July 26, reading log folders can be returned to the outside drop bins at the library for prize drawings. We will draw for prizes on Friday, Aug. 21st at 3 p.m.
Winners will be notified by phone for curbside pick-up of prizes.

We will also have Craft Take-and-Makes for elementary school children (available for pick-up on our outside table Tuesday and Thursday starting at 10 a.m.), and virtual stories read by Ms. Hanna on our Facebook page along with Preschool Take-and-Makes (available on the outside table on Thursday mornings starting at 10 a.m.) Links to project ideas will also be on our Pinterest page,

Curbside pick-ups of materials will continue to be available daily from 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
