2008 Children's Summer Reading and Craft Program

Come and join the fun this summer!

Details:

Summer Reading Program begins the week of June 9, 2008.
Come in, register, and start reading!

Elementary Age (K-5th Graders)

Wednesday or Friday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Registration is required, 920-929-3771.

Preschool (Ages 2½ -5)

Friday from 10:00-10:30 a.m.
No registration is required.

Family Night (All ages)

Thursday from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
No registration required.

Note: Please register at 920-929-3771 for all elementary-age story times, activities and programs. These programs are free but -- due to limited space -- those wishing to attend need to register.

Special Performances / Events / Contests / Activities:

Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10:00 am
“Wise Guy and His Gal”
Audiences of all ages will be highly entertained while watching Joe and Miki Wise explore the world of reading through acting, singing, dancing, puppets, audience participation, and lots of comedy.
Note: this performance will be held at the Early Learning Center 225 Mc Kinley Street, North Fond du Lac.

Friday, July 25 2008 at 1:00 pm
“CRITTERrrr Man”
Chris Langenfeld, a.k.a. CRITTERrrrMan, combines his love of nature with music, singing, storytelling, animal puppets and humor.
Note: Registration is not required, all ages are invited.

Friday, August 1, 2008 from 1-2:00 pm
Bug Fest!
Join the fun as we celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program with carnival games, prizes and a light snack. “The Balloon Kid” Stacey Schmude from Short Round Entertainment will work her balloon magic and turn everyday balloons into animals of all shapes, sizes and colors.
Open to all ages (preschool age children must be accompanied by an adult).
